If you'll be attending ALA later this month in San Diego, please join us for the RUSA Shared Collections Interest Group on Saturday, June 29 from 8:30 to 10 am at Marriott Marquis, Grand Ballroom Section 10 for a lively discussion.  The session is open to all ALA attendees.
Our agenda will be:
8:30-8:35  Welcome and Introductions, Call for Co-Chairs
8:35- 9:15 HathiTrust Shared Print Program Phase 3 Update
      Heather Weltin, Shared Print Program Officer of HathiTrust, will present an update
      on the findings from the third phase of the Shared Print Program.  Phase 3 focused
      on commitments of unique, non-circulating, single-part monographs.
9:15- 9:55 Shared Print & Sustainability
      Alison Wohlers (UC/ WEST Shared Print Program Manager for the California Digital
      Library), Heather Weltin (Shared Print Program Officer of HathiTrust), and Amy
      Wood (Director of Discovery & Technology for Center for research Libraries) recently
      wrote a series of posts<https://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/2024/03/06/guest-post-shared-print-down-the-rabbit-hole/> for the Scholarly Kitchen<https://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/> blog discussing the future of shared
      print.  Heather and Alison will review the high points from their posts and lead a
      discussion on this important topic.
